  4. Coconut oil as sunscreen
If you decide to take a dip in the pool or head out in the sun for a short while, make sure to apply coconut oil beforehand. In addition to providing protection, it also acts as a barrier between the skin and the harmful radiation that can cause skin burns or tanning. It has  an SPF of 4-5, so this natural sunscreen might protect you for a short period of time, but it’s not enough for longer periods of sun exposure. So, don’t forget to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

  5. Coconut oil as a make-up remover
Coconut oil is very slimy in consistency. As a result, your skin is effectively cleansed and makeup is easily removed. Besides removing waterproof makeup, it keeps skin moisturised.

  6. Coconut oil as anti-ageing cream
Coconut oil is infused with antioxidants, and vitamins A and  E. The combination of these reduces the effects of free radicals produced by the sun and helps slow down the signs of ageing. It also helps to diminish wrinkles and fine lines by enhancing collagen production.
Though there is insufficient research on collagen's effects on wrinkles, a high collagen content improves skin elasticity and tightens the skin, which may very well be effective against wrinkles.

  7. Coconut oil as eyebrow gel
It is quite common for people to groom their eyelashes and eyebrows. But what’s also important is to ensure that they are nourished well. You can apply coconut oil products for skin such as face oil on the brows and lashes to improve their texture and thickness. Coconut oil provides that needed sustenance and assists in maintaining your lashes and brows.

  9. Coconut oil as a lip gloss
Ditch your heavy lipsticks and opt for coconut oil as a natural lip gloss. Not only does it enhance your overall appearance, but because it's a natural product, you don't have to remove it either. It also moisturises your lips. So you can finally bid adieu to  chapped lips!
